Payment of Fines

Students
Students may report to the Office of Student Receivables, room 105, Student Services Center, to make payment. Parking citations are automatically charged to student accounts. Please bring the citation to the Office of Student Receivables at the time of payment.

Visitors
Visitors can make payments at the University of Alabama Parking Services office, room 103, Student Services Center or mail a check or money order to:

Faculty/Staff
It is recommended that no payment be made, and that you allow your parking citation to be conveniently deducted by payroll deduction. There will be no added penalty.

For payroll deduction:
Seven days after the issuance of a citation in which no payment has been made and no appeal filed, the amount of the citation will automatically be processed for payroll deduction.

Board of Review

The University Parking and Traffic Subcommittee on Appeals and Petitions also exists to hear appeals of student and/or faculty/staff who, because of extenuating circumstances, need a permit different from the one for which they qualify. These appeal forms are available and must be filed at the Parking Services Office in Room 103 of the Student Services Center.

FACULTY/STAFF APPEAL FORM

Faculty/Staff:
May appeal citations to the University Parking and Traffic Court of Appeals. Appeal forms are available on-line, by clicking the link above, and at 103 Student Services Center.

All Appeals are subject to the following stipulations:

1. The appeals must be made within three (3) days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays).
2. The citation being appealed must be listed on the appeal form. Appeals can be filed using our new interactive appeal form.
   

All appeals must be filed with the Parking Services Office in room 103 of the Student Services Center. All appeals may be made in person to the proper court after the written appeal form has been properly filed with the Parking Services Office in Room 103 of the Student Services Building.
