Department Issued Permits
Transportation Services offers one-day scratch off visitor parking permits to University of Alabama departments at a rate of $3.00 per permit. Permits are available in increments of 25.
These permits should only be issued to visitors who are not being compensated for their services to the University of Alabama. Visitor parking permits may not be issued to vendors, faculty/staff, or students. Departments must maintain a permit log showing the permit number, the visitor’s name, and the purpose of their visit. Permits must be validated by scratching the day, month and year, and displayed from the rear view mirror of the vehicle. Permits are valid for one day only. Scratching multiple days will deem the permit invalid, and a citation will be issued to the permit holder.
To acknowledge compliance with this policy, please complete the agreement below and return with the original DTA to the Transportation Services office.
