Visitor Parking Information
If you are visiting campus during the week between 7 am and 6 pm, there are three parking decks you may park in as a visitor. The cost to park for the day in each deck is $5.00. The collection machines at the entrance to the decks will accept dollar bills and quarters or pre-purchased tokens. Tokens can be purchased at the Transportation Services office, located at 451 Campus Drive East. After inserting either $5.00 or a token into the collection machine a receipt will print. Place this receipt on your dash above the steering wheel to avoid receiving a citation. These decks are:
- Ferguson Center Parking Deck: The entrance is located off of Campus Drive West at Marrs Spring Road. You must enter the 1st level of this deck in order to pay to park.
- Campus Drive Parking Deck: The entrance is located off of Campus Drive East, east of Hackberry Lane.
- North ten Hoor Parking Deck: The entrance is located off of Campus Drive West just north of Publix Supermarket.

If you have any trouble locating any of these parking decks, please use our Interactive Campus Map - http://tour.ua.edu/map/ To find the different parking decks enter the name in the search box below the map.
Visitors to campus can purchase one day scratch off parking at our office located at 103 Student Services Center, directly across from the Ferguson Center. These permits are valid in any general use parking space on campus.
If visitors park in a location other than one of the parking decks or the timed parking located at Rose Administration, north of the Ferguson Center and at residential facilities and receive a “Failure to Register” citation, we will be glad to waive the fine for your first citation. Complete the information on the back of the citation and bring the citation to Transportation Services at 451 Campus Drive East, or mail the citation to the address shown on the front of the citation.
NOTE: We will only waive the fine for your first “Failure to Register” violation. We will not waive the fine for any other violation, i.e. No Parking Space, Handicap, Tow Away Zone, etc.
On weekends and after 6 pm and before 7 am during the week a permit is not required to park on campus in a legal parking space. Please link here for a parking map of campus and here for our Parking Rules and Regulations.
