2020-2021 STUDENT PARKING PERMIT RATES

 

Below is the cost of student permits for the 2020-2021 academic year.  No refunds will be issued at the end of the spring semester.

REFUNDS

To receive a 100% refund for permits purchased during the Fall, Spring, or Summer semesters, the permit must be returned to Parking Services within ten business days of the purchase date. ** Students who purchase a permit prior to August 19th will have 10 business days from the 1st day of class (which would be September 2nd) to report the permit lost in the mail or obtain a full refund for the permit.

January 15, 2021, is the final date to receive a ½ refund for permits purchased during the Fall semester.

Replacement cost on all student permits will be $100 for Fall and Spring and $50 for Summer, billed to the student’s account.

 

Tutwiler Upgrade

The Tutwiler upgrade will add $100 to the cost of the commuter permit you are eligible/chose to purchase.  If you would like to purchase this additional access, click the permit you wish to purchase with the upgrade attached. (example:  Commuter NE with Tutwiler Upgrade) Once the allotment of permits is depleted for the Tutwiler Deck, sales for the upgrade will stop and will not be listed as a purchase option. Tutwiler upgrade is not valid for events.

 

PERMITS LOST IN THE MAIL/LOST BY OWNER

Students are issued a temporary paper permit to use in surface lots and parking decks while their permit is mailed out.  Permits that are lost in the mail must be reported to our office within 10 business days of the purchase date to receive a replacement permit, or the student may be subject to a $100 replacement fee.  Permits that are lost by the owner are subject to the $100 replacement fee.

**Motorcycle permits must be purchased at the Parking Services Office.  There is no additional charge if you already have a current F/S permit.

REFUNDS

Faculty and Staff members who retire or no longer work for The University of Alabama may return the parking permit for a prorated refund if paid in full. Payroll deduction will be stopped upon return of the permit and official separation.
