January 15, 2020 is the final date to receive ½ refund for permits that were purchased for the Fall semester.

To receive a 100% refund for permits purchased for the Spring semester, the permit must be returned within ten business days of the purchase date.

No refunds will be issued at the end of the Spring semester.


Students are issued a temporary paper permit to use in surface lots and parking decks for ten days while their permit is mailed out.  Permits that are lost in the mail must be reported to our office within 10 business days of purchase to receive a replacement permit, or the student may be subject to a $100 replacement fee.  Permits that are lost by owner are subject to a $100 replacement fee.

Transportation Survey

The University of Alabama Transportation Services seeks to gather information and feedback about how students, faculty, staff, and visitors travel to and through campus through a transportation survey. The survey is part of a 5 Year Plan for Transportation Services to evaluate the existing campus parking, transportation, and mobility system to adequately plan for the future. The results of the survey will be used in analyzing current conditions and developing goals, strategies, and implementable recommendations to lead Transportation Services into the future.



Parking with a Purpose

The University of Alabama Student Government Association Judicial Branch and UA Parking Services have partnered together to bring UA students, Parking with a Purpose. Parking with a Purpose allows students to work off parking tickets through community service within the Tuscaloosa community.  Please click here for more details.
